Allotment Jewels

Hi All

Life is very busy at the moment getting the shop ready to open, and last night I just needed a few minutes of something completely different to clear my mind.

So along with my daughter we wandered on to our allotment. We watered, and weeded, and chased the butterflies off the new cabbage plants.

We also had these to collect:

 

Aren't they amazing!!!!! 

Last autumn hubby came home from our local supermarket with 2 bags of discount bulbs which my daughter planted in a spare patch of ground. They sat very cold and wet all winter and I was very worried they would never be seen again, but we have been lucky yet again.

Amazingly we also collected some produce, my asparagus plants have started shooting spears, so we then had to find something to eat the with, Oh dear we had to have steak for tea. Yummy!!!!!! and a real treat for a mid week tea. Steak is something I like to save for Saturdays.

Anyway, have to dash, wool waiting.
