Hello
I was searching through my wool stash last night when part of it fell off the top of the wardrobe and tipped itself all over the floor. I think it was reminding me that it is feeling neglicted at the moment! I have been too busy to rumage through it of late. In fact it must have been quite a few months because one of the things that came flying out and across the floor was this tiny package:
It was bought months ago from the Janet Bell Gallery in Beaumaris on Anglesey, and I knew it was buttons just from the size of the package. It was very tempting to rip off the packaging immediately, but as I wanted to share it with you I had to wait until this morning and hope for sunshine so I could get a decent photo.
So here they are:
Aren't they exquisite?
I also now remember why I bought them. I have a Debbie Bliss dress pattern which I have been dying to knit for ages, and about 12 months ago I found some perfect grey wool. The buttons were in the bottom of the bag, waiting patiently with the wool until I find some time.
I won't be starting it this week!
But, I am a patient lady, it will happen eventually.
So to all you other creative people out there, with too many ideas and not enough time, I say, be patient. Good things come to those who wait.
Until another day. Goodbye.
Jo
