The Little Opening

Hello Everyone

Well today I did it. I tentatively opened the door. I took down the sign that said 'Opening Soon' and just left the OPEN sign up.

I am now 'Just Unwind', 1 Main Street,  Cross Hills, Keighley, North Yorkshire, BD20 8TA. Not far from Skipton, the gateway to the dales.

I was sure it would go through the door, but no!!! My dad had to dismantle it on the street then put it back together again inside. Why was that such a big thing you ask? Well it is a magic table ( it says so on a label somewhere underneath). Extra panels appear from the middle, then dissappear again in the most amazing way. You will have to come to one of the Knit & Natters in to see it. Anyway, I couldn't watch, I made coffee and biscuits for the workers and only reappeared when it was inside and in one piece again. I received a very tentative text from a friend later saying 'did it or didn't it go in?' Well of course it did, how could I have ever doubted my dad!

We were almost properly ready. Just a few things left in bags bacause at the last minute another order arrived, and I started to re-arrange some stock.

So, I am finally open after what feels like months! Well I suppose it has been months!!!

The 'Grand Opening' will be on Wednesday 18th May when all the family have been roped in to make 'Cakes'. But if you would like to pop in before then I would be most happy to see you.

Do hope you can come. The bus from Skipton to Keighley goes right past my shop and stops about 50 m away, it is also a buggy friendly bus so maybe that is an option! I should also be back at the Wild Oats KN soon. Life is very busy but as damn near perfect as I think I might ever get. Jo

Huge Congratulations Jo, I've been thinking about you a lot in recent weeks and wondered when your wonderful bew shop would be OIfficially Open. So glad I've not missed the party, I will try very very hard to be there but am without a car these days so will have to maybe rally a friend with wheels to chauffeur me and Little B!!!!! LOL!!! I sincerely hope Little B will not be a Litte Bugger lol, he has never been let loose in a wool shop before!!!!!!!!
Can't wait to have a good root through your balls!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hee hee very very excited!

Yes very exciting. We have been so busy we have struggled to find time to eat. Unbelievable!!! Would love to see you, how lucky for both of us you have that day off.
